HEARTBEATS

A new mix from Johnny Goldman, DAI and myself features Jamaican popular music has hand drums the man called Count Ossie was a deeply religious rasta man camped in famous Wareika mountain in Jamaica. Since some producers offered him to record his incredible bongo sounds in late 50s, Jamaican popular music started adopting Rastafarian music which was mainly their unique pattern of hand drums. the hand drum sounds helped Reggae music to add their soulful, deep and heart pumping edges to make the music tribal, aggressive  and sometime tender.
